How did it start?
Many products and brands are created as a response to a need, market, situation, or personal need. For the creator of our brand and cosmetics and therapeutic ointments CBD Skin Expert Magdalena Raduchy - Chechelska's concern for health, nutrition and quality of life has always been a priority. She did not change her habits even during an important time for a woman - pregnancy.
When my daughter was 2 months old, Magda heard a worrying diagnosis from a dermatologist: that her little one has seborrheic dermatitis and that due to the genetic predisposition from the father, in time this condition could develop into atopic dermatitis. This diagnosis had an extremely motivating effect on the young mother.
"I knew what this disease was, I knew the suffering it entailed, I had come across cases of this condition among children and adults in my circle of closest friends and family. I started looking for information on the internet, educating myself on a diet that reduces inflammation in the body and on the composition of skin care cosmetics," says Magdalena Raducha -Chechelska, creator of the CBD Skin Expert brand.
This experience resulted in a search for a solution. Many hours of browsing through books, blogs, information resulted in safe and healthy therapeutic soaps, creams and ointments created according to our own recipes. In time, the necessity turned into a professional passion.
"The process of creation absorbed me completely. I also started giving my cosmetics to my loved ones. I was given new tasks: create an anti-wrinkle cream, a cream for broken capillaries, with vitamin C, an intensively moisturizing cream, a nourishing cream, a hand cream! More demanding requests also appeared, such as an ointment for cracked skin on the feet or for atopic dermatitis or psoriasis."
This is how a passionate adventure began. Magdalena Raducha - Chechelska based her cosmetic recipes on herbs and natural soothing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial substances. She also used natural antibiotics used in her family for years - propolis and beeswax. The results were amazing. Products applied to skin lesions soothed irritations, ointments restored balance to diseased skin. Magdalena continued to improve her recipes until she finally began experimenting with an extract from hemp leaves and stems containing cannabinoids beneficial to the skin.
