Dobrostan-dzięki-CBD-naturalne-rozwiązania-na-codzienny-stres

In the latest report on the well-being of Polish women and men, prepared by infiuture.institute, almost half of the respondents assessed their well-being as average. 40% points out that this is primarily influenced by the stress of everyday life. It is becoming all the more important for us to remember the need to take care of our health in a holistic way. Natural and centuries-old plant substances can help with this.

Stress, an inseparable element of modern life, can have various sources – from professional challenges, through personal problems, to global crises: climate, economic, armed conflicts. The report cited at the beginning clearly shows how strongly it affects the overall assessment of the quality of our lives.

Man as a whole

Physical health, mental health, and inner peace are the areas that – according to the study authors – have the greatest impact on the perception of our well-being in terms of quality of life, satisfaction, and sense of security.

Stress, anxiety, sleep problems, and often other somatic complaints (stomach aches, muscle pains, diarrhea) can paralyze our ability to function normally. How can we help ourselves? It is worth reaching for natural, proven substances used in folk medicine for thousands of years.

One of them is CBD.

CBD – a natural antidepressant

CBD, or cannabidiol, is an organic chemical compound, one of over 100 cannabinoids found in hemp - plants of the Cannabis sativa species. It is obtained primarily from hemp flowers and contains a wealth of acids, minerals and vitamins. But the most valuable is the extract CBD full spectrum, which has documented therapeutic properties with a wide range of applications[1].

CBD works anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, immunological; supports the body's immunity and stimulates the homeostasis of all systems. It also has a significant impact on the functioning of our nervous system, which is why it is considered natural and safe antidepressant, which reduces tension and anxiety, caused by stress.

CBD and our endocannabinoid system receptors

Cannabidiol has the ability to interact with receptors located in the endocannabinoid system (ECS) of our body.

The system is a network of receptors distributed throughout the body, from the brain to the skin to the gut. Receptors are found in all systems and internal organs.

There are two types of receptors: CB1 and CB2. CBD interacts with them, evoking positive reactions, restoring the proper functioning of organs, but also inhibits inflammation, reduces pain, regulates the secretion of compounds - in a word, restores the homeostasis necessary for proper functioning[2].

CB1 – the guardian of the nervous system

The endocannabinoid system has the two types of receptors already mentioned: CB1 and CB2.

The largest number of CB1 receptors are found in the nervous system. They are found primarily in nerve cells in the brain, spinal cord, cerebellum, basal ganglia, and hippocampus.[3], and even in the nerve endings on the skin – hence the strong connection between CBD and the sphere related to well-being and mental balance, but also pain reactions.

CBD – neurotransmitter regulator

Thanks to its unique properties, CBD has the ability to positively stimulate our nervous system, including by controlling brain neurotransmission. serotonin and noradrenaline and its active binding to 5HT-1 A receptors[4] , which are located in the human brain. This receptor, among others, influences the feeling of anxiety or fear.

Serotonin is a very important hormone, often called the hormone of happiness. It is a neurotransmitter responsible for transmitting information between cells in the nervous system. Its level affects mood, but it also plays a role in other processes, such as memory, feeling anger, fear, tension, pain. It is also responsible for appetite, and even sexual behavior and sleep[5].

CBD also affects the levels of other neurotransmitters such as anandamide, which is closely related to the regulation of mood and emotions.

Interacting with them reduces tension, improves well-being, relaxes and gives you a good mood.[6].

Better Sleep, Less Anxiety with CBD

It is worth mentioning one more important effect of cannabidiol.

Cannabidiol reduces the level of cortisol, considered a stress hormone that accompanies us in almost every difficult situation. Increased cortisol is not only tension and anxiety - but also trouble falling asleep. Insomnia, difficulty falling asleep, too little sleep, these are problems that affect millions of people. CBD, through its calming effect and lowering of cortisol levels (which are often highest in the evening), makes it easier to fall asleep. And because it also shows a reduction in pain, patients suffering from various types of pain also confirm: they fall asleep easier and have better quality sleep.[7].

Summary

Stress, the speed of life and anxiety are currently among the most important factors affecting the well-being of Poles. The rush of everyday life, growing professional demands, personal problems and the uncertain global situation mean that more and more people need support for their mental health. As studies show, as many as 40% Poles believe that their well-being is directly related to the level of stress.

Taking care of your health holistically, meaning taking care of your physical and mental health at the same time, is key to improving your quality of life. Being aware of the interdependencies between these two aspects of health can help you cope with everyday challenges more effectively.

Natural support methods, such as the use of CBD, are becoming increasingly popular and are recognized as effective in relieving symptoms of stress and anxiety..

We encourage you to consciously take care of your health and look for natural methods of support. Remember that mental health is just as important as physical health, and the balance between them is the key to a full and satisfying life.
